My name is Ben Hunter, born in Scotland and raised in Norfolk.

My father had owned a packaging plant in Glasgow and I spent most of my free time there as a wee kid.

It was only natural for me to follow in the footsteps and nature (and nurture) took its course and led me to the world of label printing.

I spent 20 years working for one of UK’s most prominent businesses selling label printers, labels, inks, ribbons etc so I have a vast array of experience when it comes to labels to be used as packaging and branding.

I started this website ColourLabelPrinter.com as a portal to educate and guide people who are either looking to buy a label printer or want to start a business selling them.

Here I cover the differences in label printer technologies, the advantages and disadvantages in each and also share my (unbiased) recommendations on which type is best for your business.
